Under the Spotlight - Singleton Birch
Our software development has helped local businesses resolve complex and difficult processes and streamline them into simple and intuitive processes. We helped Singleton Birch with a previously manual process for capturing temperatures, recording them and comparing them to quality standards. Our approach is to listen to the requirements, question and investigate why a process is performed in a certain way (sometimes it doesn't need to be) and suggest new and innovative ways to resolve the issue. In the Singleton Birch solution, we researched and sourced temperature loggers and probes which had to be suitable for the environment and the quality tolerances. After identifying suitable hardware we designed the process and custom software to record, compare and report the recorded information in a simple and easy to use way. We looked at the needs of the users and administrators creating the software to meet the simplicity required for daily use while providing the power and functionality behind a secure log in for administrators.

Can't find the information you need to make business decisions? - We can help!
The world is full of information. We have more information available to us at our fingertips than at any other point in time, yet we are still finding that as a small business we don't always have the relevant information available to us. This is when we set up our own survey solution to help us get the information we need to develop our business and provide the services our clients need. Shortly after running our first survey, we realised that other business would find this service useful. After some time and thinking we launched a service called valuesyouropinion.com. You may ask, why didn't you just use one of the many free online survey providers? Well, we wanted the survey to be branded and have features we could only get by paying for enterprise level packages. As we ran the survey we realised the time and effort running your own survey takes, but the results and valuable insight we received made it all worth it.
Valuesyouropinion.com is aimed at small businesses wanting a branded survey or an online feedback form and don't have the time to manage the survey. Provide us with a list of intended recipients and a set of questions - we will do the rest for you.
Secrets, Tips and Tricks
In this section we highlight some software we find useful and want to share with you.
Our pick this time is Buffer - www.bufferapp.com
For any individual or business, trying to keep on top of social media can be a challenge. Buffer App offers the ability to queue up tweets, Facebook posts and Linkedin statuses which can be done from within most browsers and from most phones with a custom app. The free package is limited to 10 statuses in the queue, but this is enough to keep your social media moving while you are busy in meetings or working through the piles of work on your desk.
We want to hear your feedback, what do you like about us, the newsletter and our services? What can we improve?
Thank you for reading.
